Why do we need it?
Teams pick the wrong compute and fight bills or limits later.
What is it?
EC2 = you manage a server. Containers = package + orchestrate. Lambda = upload code, AWS runs it.
How to do it
Use Lambda for short event work. Use EC2/containers for long jobs, GPUs or special OS needs.
Example
15-minute video encode → EC2 or ECS. Resize one image on upload → Lambda.
