14.7 Print Titles (Repeat Header Rows)

Steps in Excel

  1. Page Layout › Page Setup › Print Titles.
  2. Rows to repeat at top: click the box, then select row 1 (the header row) → $1:$1.
  3. Columns to repeat at left (for very wide sheets): for example $A:$A so Order ID appears on every page.
  4. OK › check pages 2, 3… in Print Preview.

Worked example. The 14,000-row Orders list prints on many pages. With $1:$1 as rows to repeat, every page starts with Order ID | Order Date | Platform | City | …, so page 37 is still readable.
