15.5 Stage 4 – Build the Dashboard

Steps in Excel (follow Module 13)

  1. Dashboard sheet: gridlines and headings off, title "Blinkit Maharashtra – Ganeshotsav Report, September 2026", data date and fictional-data note.
  2. Five KPI cards linked to Calc cells (Net Sales, Delivered Orders, AOV, Cancellation %, On-time %).
  3. Charts: daily sales line (mark 14-09-2026), city bar with target marker (combo chart, Module 8.5), top categories bar, platform doughnut.
  4. Slicers for City, Platform, Category and a timeline for Order Date, connected to all pivots.
  5. Fit to one screen; align and distribute objects.

Worked example – layout. Row 1: title. Rows 3–7: five cards. Left column: slicers and timeline. Centre: trend line full width. Bottom: city vs target combo, top categories, platform share.
