Why do we need it?
Long prompts, long answers, and unbounded test loops create surprise bills.
What is it?
You usually pay per input token and per output token. Keep max_tokens small in labs; set AWS Budgets.

How to do it
Enable one cheap model, budget alert (e.g. $5), never put Bedrock in an infinite loop.
Example
Ten short test calls stay cheap; a loop of 100k-token dumps does not.
