Two Step Functions types confuse billing and how long a flow may run.
What is it?
Standard: up to 1 year, exactly-once, full execution history — great for business orders. Express: high event rate, at-least-once, cheaper short flows.
How to do it
For paid→packed→shipped lab choose Standard. Express fits IoT-scale streams under 5 minutes.
