22.9 Sync Slicers Across Pages

Steps in Power BI

  1. Select the Platform slicer on the Executive page › View › Sync slicers.
  2. The Sync slicers pane lists every page with two columns: Sync (filter effect) and Visible (shown on that page).
  3. Tick Sync for Executive, Delivery and Customers pages. Tick Visible only where the slicer should appear. It can filter a page while being hidden there.
  4. Selecting a page to sync to where the slicer does not exist adds a copy of it.
  5. Advanced options: a group name syncs different slicer visuals that use the same field. Options also control syncing of field changes and filter changes to other slicers in the group.

He bagha, mitrano: copy-pasting a slicer to another page and answering Don't sync is the mistake I see most. The two slicers then work independently, and users see different platforms on different pages. Use View › Sync slicers and check the grid for every page. Practice kara, mag ekdum sope vatel.
