22.8 Clearing Selections

  • Eraser icon (Clear selections) in the slicer header clears that slicer (turn the header on to show it).
  • Ctrl + click a selected item to unselect it.
  • A Clear all slicers button (Insert › Buttons › Blank › Action Clear all slicers) clears all slicers on the page.
  • A Reset bookmark button returns everything, including Filters pane filters, to a saved state (Module 19.5).

Mitrano, khup students forget to give users a clear way to remove all their selections. Add a Clear selections option in the slicer header or a Reset button (Module 19.5), and test it on every page. Chuk karu naka!
