Sora 2 Shut Down: Free AI Video Alternatives for India (2026)

The Sora 2 app was only released in a few countries (US, Canada, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam) and never officially in India. OpenAI then shut down the Sora web and app on 26 April 2026 and the Sora API on 24 September 2026. As of 25 October 2026, any “Sora 2 APK” or “Sora invite code” offered in India is fake and may be malware. For AI video, try official tools such as Gemini (Veo), Google Flow, Kling or Runway — check each tool’s own free limits.
