16.7 Deploy path B — kind

  1. kind create cluster --name shipit
  2. Load or pull the image into kind (Chapter 15 snag notes).
  3. kubectl apply -f Deployment + Service.
  4. Wait for Ready; kubectl port-forward; curl /health and /badge.
  5. Change image tag once; roll forward; then roll back using the documented command.
  6. kind delete cluster --name shipit at the end.
