53.1 Project Goal (Mauli Reviews)
Why. Put cleaning + TF-IDF + classification together on one fictional Mauli Dairy review set — end-to-end classical NLP.
What. Sentiment analysis here means binary labels: positive (1) vs negative (0). Pipeline: texts → train/test split → TfidfVectorizer → LogisticRegression → accuracy on holdout.
How.
Define the project
- Business question: flag unhappy review lines for a Pune ops manager.
- Data: small fictional labelled list (teaching size).
- Success: better than guessing; metrics from ch37 still apply.
- Scope: English/Hinglish practice text only — not a production WhatsApp bot.
