venv क्यों?
- एक project के packages की folder।
- Class work system Python से नहीं भिड़ता।
ds-envमिटाकर फिर बना सकते हो।
Step 1 — Python 3
- python.org या OS package manager।
- Windows पर “Add Python to PATH”.
- नया terminal।
python3 --version।
चाहिए: 3.x version string।
Step 2 — Folder + venv
mkdir ds-practice
cd ds-practice
python3 -m venv ds-env
Activate: Linux/macOS source ds-env/bin/activate; Windows ds-env\Scripts\activate.
Step 3 — Packages (sklearn नहीं)
python -m pip install --upgrade pip
pip install jupyter pandas openpyxl matplotlib seaborn
sklearn क्यों नहीं: यह course ML model training नहीं सिखाता।
Step 4 — Jupyter
jupyter notebook
Checks: UI खुले → नया notebook → print(1+1) → 2 → import pandas as pd.
