47. Interview Questions Asked in MNC Interviews
47.1 How to Use This Chapter – Sources and Ethics
Pehle trust, mag source discipline, mag STAR. Company naav fake nako. Samjla ka?
Q1. How is this MNC chapter different from the general interview chapter?
General chapter builds fundamentals in clean English. This chapter maps themes candidates reported from public MNC interview experiences. When a theme is tied to a company, I say the company and "candidate-reported". When not, I say Frequently asked across MNC interviews (candidate-reported). I never invent "Infosys asked me X" without a source I read.
Q2. When may you name a company in an answer?
Only when a public page I (or this book’s research) actually read reports that theme for that company. Example: a TechGig article on Wipro cybersecurity questions, or a GeeksforGeeks TCS experience post. Otherwise I keep the company out and still answer the concept well.
Q3. What does "candidate-reported" mean in your mouth?
It means a candidate or career site published that the theme came up – it is not an official company question bank. Themes change. I prepare the concept, not a memorised company script.
Q4. How do you open any answer that sounds offensive?
Ethics first: I only use offensive tools against systems I own or have written authorisation to test. In training I use host-only VirtualBox and my own Free Tier AWS. Then I explain the Blue detection and fix.
Q5. How do you use STAR with MNC SOC questions?
Situation – OWN Sahyadri lab alert or fictional Raja-Rani shop scenario. Task – triage or harden. Action – logs, contain, fix. Result – re-verify and document. I never present fiction as a real employer breach.
Q6. What if the interviewer asks which MNC asked which exact question?
I say I prepare from public candidate reports and concept mastery, not from leaking private interview banks. I can discuss the theme confidently without claiming a secret list.
| Red team (attacker) does | Blue team (defender) detects / stops |
|---|---|
| Invents "I hacked for Wipro client" stories | Interviewer checks ethics; ethics-first candidates win trust |
| Name-drops companies with no source | Candidate says candidate-reported or frequently asked across MNCs |
Ravindra Bagale's Tip
Khup students LinkedIn var "XYZ asked 50 questions" copy kartat – source check nahi. Rule: company naav = public page vachli asel tarach. Nasel tar "Frequently asked across MNC interviews (candidate-reported)". Honesty = trust. Lakshat theva.
Lab
Notebook page MNC source discipline. Write three lines: (1) one Wipro theme from TechGig, (2) one TCS theme from GeeksforGeeks, (3) one theme you will mark "frequently asked" because you have no company page. Practise saying them aloud to Amir.
