12.7 Plan reading habits

When you read a plan, ask:

  1. How many resources add / change / destroy?
  2. Does any destroy touch production-looking names?
  3. Are ingress rules still locked to my /32?
  4. Did I mean to replace an instance (force new)?

Tiny story. Priya changes a security group rule. plan shows update in-place. She applies. Later she renames a resource block carelessly; plan wants destroy+create — she stops, fixes the address, avoids downtime.
