  1. From a safe computer you trust, change Google / Apple-alternate / mail / social passwords; enable MFA.

How do I remove and protect (defence steps)?

Step 1 — Identity from a clean device

  1. Change Google password; review devices; 2-Step on.
  2. WhatsApp two-step; log out linked devices.
  3. Bank apps: change passwords / PINs via official channels.

Step 2 — Hunt persistence on the phone

  1. Settings → Security → Device admin apps → deactivate unknowns.
  2. Settings → Accessibility → turn off unknown services.
  3. App list: show system apps if needed; note odd names; uninstall.

Step 3 — Safe mode and reset

  1. Boot Safe mode (model-specific power-off menu — check OEM help for your model).
  2. Uninstall the suspect app.
  3. If it returns: back up photos via cable to a PC; factory reset; set up fresh; avoid restoring unknown APK backups.

Step 4 — Hardening

  1. Play Protect on; unknown sources off.
