Why. First login is confusing: workspace vs cluster vs notebook.

What.

• Workspace — files, notebooks, repos.
• Notebook — code + docs cells (SQL/Python).
• Cluster — compute that runs the notebook (turn off after lab).

How. Create/attach a small cluster → run display(spark.range(5)) style hello → shut cluster down.
