What. Data engineering is the craft of moving, cleaning, and storing data so other people (analysts, scientists, apps) can trust it. Less “pretty chart”, more “reliable table every morning”.

How.

Spot DE work

  1. Extract orders CSV from the shop system at 2:00 AM IST.
  2. Clean types, remove duplicates, fix city spellings (Pune / poona).
  3. Load into a warehouse / lakehouse table.
  4. Tell analytics: “table fact_orders is ready.”
