12.1 Hierarchy म्हणजे काय?
एकाच table मधले columns मोठ्या गटापासून detail पर्यंत क्रमाने ठेवले की hierarchy तयार होते. User त्यावर drill down करू शकतो.

Date साठी Year → Quarter → Month → Day; Location साठी State → City → Area → Store; Product साठी Category → Sub Category → Product Name. सर्व levels एकाच table मध्ये असतात, म्हणून dimension attributes एकत्र ठेवणं सोयीचं.
