What Is AI-Powered Full Stack Development

Full stack means frontend + backend + data. AI-powered means one real AI feature is part of the product — not a slide.

Why this matters

Companies in Pune, Bengaluru and Hyderabad hire people who can ship a small web app and add one AI feature (summarise text, FAQ chat, or classify a form). Knowing only ChatGPT prompts is not enough. Knowing only React without an API is also not enough. This course joins both sides in plain English.

What you will learn

You will learn the four layers of an AI full-stack app: (1) UI the user sees, (2) API that runs business rules, (3) database that stores data, (4) an AI call that helps the user. You will also learn what not to put in the browser (API keys) and how this path links to the AI Coding course for IDE assistants.

How to do it

We start with a simple picture of the stack, then name free or low-cost tools you can use as a student in India (Next.js or React, Node or Python API, Postgres, one LLM API). No course fees are listed here — check the enquiry page for live batch details.

Steps (do these in order)

  1. Step 1 — Draw the four boxes. On paper write: Browser (UI) → Your API → Database, and a side arrow from API → AI provider. That picture is the whole course.
  2. Step 2 — Pick one user story. Example: a small shop in Nashik wants a page where staff paste a customer WhatsApp message and get a short summary. Keep one story for Volume 1.
  3. Step 3 — Name the tools (Volume 1 choice). This draft path uses Next.js (App Router) for the UI, a small Node or Python API, Postgres, and one text API (OpenAI-compatible or similar). You can swap later — document your choice in the README.
  4. Step 4 — Safety rule from day one. API keys stay on the server. The browser never sees them. Prompt injection and secrets get their own chapter later.
  5. Step 5 — Link, do not duplicate. For Cursor / Copilot habits, use the AI Coding course. This track focuses on the product shape.

Practice

  • Write five lines: who is the user, what they paste, what the AI returns, where data is stored, what must stay secret.
  • List three India job titles that match this skill (example: Full Stack Developer, AI Application Developer, Product Engineer).
