# 1.5 Power BI मध्ये काम करण्याचा नेहमीचा क्रम

बहुतेक Power BI projects मध्ये कामाचा साधारण क्रम सारखाच असतो. हा क्रम समजला की नवीन project कुठून सुरू करायचा ते स्पष्ट होतं. Interview मध्येही हा प्रश्न विचारला जातो.

data जोडा — Connect: Home › Get data वापरून आवश्यक data sources शी connection करा.

data तयार करा — Transform: Power Query मध्ये चुका काढा, data types दुरुस्त करा आणि आवश्यक रचना तयार करा.

Model बनवा: tables मध्ये relationships तयार करा, date table बनवा आणि नको असलेले columns लपवा.

calculations तयार करा: DAX measures वापरा. गरज असेल तिथे calculated columns तयार करा.

Report मांडणी करा — Visualise: charts, tables, slicers आणि filters वापरून report pages तयार करा.

Publish करा: report Power BI Service मधल्या योग्य workspace मध्ये पाठवा.

इतरांना उपलब्ध करून द्या: apps, sharing links, dashboards, Teams किंवा subscriptions वापरा. योग्य permissions द्या.

Refresh आणि देखभाल: refresh ची वेळ ठरवा. स्थानिक data साठी गरजेनुसार gateway वापरा. वापरावर लक्ष ठेवा आणि report सुधारत राहा.

उदाहरण: कोथरूडमधल्या store च्या विक्रीचा report करायचा आहे. आधी ऑर्डरची file आणा. मग चुकीच्या तारखा आणि रिकाम्या नोंदी तपासा. Products आणि Orders जोडा. sales चे calculations तयार करा. त्यानंतरच chart बनवा. आकडाच चुकीचा असेल तर सुंदर chart करून उपयोग होत नाही.

Animation मधून workflow समजून घेऊया

प्रत्येक step वर click करा किंवा animation सुरू करा. हे concept समजावण्यासाठी बनवलेलं illustration आहे; Power BI चा screenshot नाही.

मागचा stepAnimation सुरू करापुढचा step

Excel किंवा database मधून orders चा data आणतो. Source आणि एका row चा अर्थ आधी तपासतो.
क्रम: Get data → Clean → Model → DAX → Report → Publish आणि Refresh. प्रत्येक step चं explanation वरील lesson मध्ये आहे.

कच्चा data मिळताच charts बनवायला लागू नका. आधी data → Power Query मध्ये cleaning → model → measures → visuals → publish. वीस charts बनवल्यावर data मधली चूक दुरुस्त करण्यापेक्षा सुरुवातीलाच ती शोधणं सोपं पडतं.
