20. Excel Glossary — शब्दांचा सोपा अर्थ
Technical शब्द Englishमध्येच ठेवा; त्याचा अर्थ इथे रोजच्या मराठीत पाहा. शब्द पाठ करण्याऐवजी छोटा example करून पाहा.

| Active cell | सध्या selected असलेला cell; typing इथे होते. |
| Advanced Filter | Criteria rangeने AND/OR filters आणि वेगळ्या जागी extracted result. |
| Aggregate | अनेक valuesची Sum,Count,Averageसारखी summary. |
| Append | Tablesच्या rows एकाखाली एक जोडणं; Power Query columnsची नावं जुळवतो. |
| Applied Steps | Power Queryमधले क्रमाने चालणारे transformation steps. |
| Argument | Functionला दिलेला input; SUM(range)मधला range. |
| Array | Rows/columnsमधल्या valuesचा एकत्र वापरला जाणारा संच. |
| AOV | त्याच scopeची sales ÷ distinct orders. या courseमध्ये Delivered scope; definition स्पष्ट ठेवा. |
| AutoFill / Fill handle | Cellच्या कोपऱ्यातून drag करून copy किंवा series पुढे भरणं. |
| Break-even | Modelमध्ये profit zero होणारा point. |
| Calculated field | Standard Pivotमध्ये इतर fieldsच्या aggregated valuesवर formula. |
| Cell | Row आणि column जिथे भेटतात; उदा.B2. |
| Chart | Dataची visual मांडणी. |
| Co-authoring | Supported shared workbookवर अनेक जण एकत्र edit करणं. |
| Column | उभे cells; A,B,C… |
| Concatenate | &/CONCAT/TEXTJOINने text जोडणं. |
| Conditional formatting | Rule पूर्ण झाल्यावर automatic format. |
| Criteria | Filter/count/sumची अट; उदा.City="Pune". |
| Dashboard | महत्त्वाचे KPIs, comparisons आणि viewsची वाचायला सोपी summary. |
| Data Model | Related tables आणि measuresसाठी Excelमधली model storage/engine सुविधा. |
| Data Table (What-If) | एक-दोन inputs बदलल्यावर formulaचे results दाखवणारा grid. |
| Data validation | Cell entryसाठी rules; imported/pasted dataच्या सर्व चुका आपोआप पकडत नाही. |
| Delimiter | Text parts वेगळे करणारा character; comma किंवा hyphen. |
| Duplicate | ठरवलेल्या key/grainनुसार repeated record/value; प्रत्येक repeat चुकीचा नसतो. |
| Dynamic array | Formulaचा result size बदलतो आणि multiple cellsमध्ये spill होऊ शकतो. |
| Encryption | Dataला key/passwordशिवाय वाचता न येईल अशा स्वरूपात encode करणं; sheet protection वेगळं. |
| Filter | Conditions पूर्ण करणाऱ्या rows दाखवणं. |
| Flash Fill | Examplesच्या patternवर static values भरणं; source बदलल्यावर update नाही. |
| Formula | =ने सुरू होणारं calculation expression. |
| Function | SUM/XLOOKUPसारखं named operation; custom functionही बनवता येतं. |
| Goal Seek | एका inputची value बदलून target formula result शोधणं. |
| Granularity | एका rowचा detail level—order,line,day,month. |
| Helper column | मधल्या calculation/cleaningसाठी अतिरिक्त column. |
| Immediate window | VBEमध्ये Debug.Print output आणि expression checksची जागा. |
| Iteration | Step/calculation पुन्हा पुन्हा करणं. |
| KPI | ठरलेल्या goalची प्रगती मोजणारं स्पष्ट defined metric. |
| Lookup | Key शोधून related value आणणं. |
| Loop | For/For Each/Doने code repeat करणं. |
| Macro | काम automate करणाऱ्या instructions. |
| Merge (Power Query) | Common keyवर tables join करणं; multiple matchesने output rows वाढू शकतात. |
| Mixed reference | फक्त row किंवा column fixed: A$2 किंवा $A2. |
| Module (VBA) | VBA procedures लिहिण्याचा code container. |
| Named range | Cell/rangeला दिलेलं नाव; उदा.GST_Rate. Scope तपासा. |
| Nested formula | एका functionमध्ये दुसरं function. |
| Outlier | बाकी valuesपेक्षा वेगळी/दूरची value; ती चूकच असेल असं नाही. |
| PivotChart | PivotTableशी जोडलेला chart. |
| PivotTable | Fields/filtersवर आधारित interactive summary. |
| Power Pivot | Supported Excelमध्ये model,relationships,DAXसाठी tooling. |
| Power Query | Repeatable stepsने data import,clean,reshape करणं. |
| Print titles | Printed pagesवर header rows/columns repeat करणं. |
| Procedure | Sub किंवा Functionसारखा named VBA code block. |
| Range | Cellsचा समूह; A2:G100. |
| Reconciliation | Before/after counts/totalsमधला फरक शोधून ताळमेळ दाखवणं. |
| Relative reference | Copyच्या directionनुसार बदलणारा reference; A2. |
| Report | Results आणि context दाखवणारी sheet/document. |
| Row | आडवे cells; row1,2,3… |
| Scenario Manager | Named input sets save/compare करणारा What-If tool. |

| Variable | Codeमध्ये value/objectसाठी नाव; Dim lastRow As Long. |

| Volatile function | Recalculation cycleमध्ये पुन्हा calculate होणारा function; TODAY/OFFSET/INDIRECT. |
| Wildcard | * अनेक characters,? एक character match; literalसाठी योग्य escape. |
| Workbook | Excel file; त्यात worksheets आणि इतर workbook objects असतात. |
