Macro म्हणजे workbookमधलं काम करणारा program. त्यासाठी Developer tab आणि macro-enabled file format समजून घेऊ. खालील menus Windows desktopसाठी आहेत.

Steps

File › Options › Customize Ribbon › Developer tick › OK. Code groupमध्ये Visual Basic, Macros, Record Macro, Use Relative References आणि Macro Security मिळतात.

Developer › Macro Security किंवा Trust Center Settingsमध्ये macro policies पाहता येतात. Disable without notification, Disable with notification, signed-macros-only आणि Enable VBA macros असे पर्याय असू शकतात.

स्वतःच्या practice workbookची copy Excel Macro-Enabled Workbook (*.xlsm) म्हणून save करा. .xlsxमध्ये VBA code टिकत नाही.

Trust settings समजून घ्या

Downloaded fileमधले macros Windows/Office policiesमुळे block होऊ शकतात. फक्त Enable Content दिसतंय म्हणून click करू नका. Source आणि code समजून घ्या. “Enable all macros” ठेवणं आवश्यक नाही.

Trusted Locationमधल्या filesवर काही checks कमी लागू होतात. त्यामुळे संपूर्ण Downloads folder trusted करू नका. Organisationची policy असल्यास ती पाळा. Original sourceमध्ये file Properties › Unblock हा पर्याय दिला आहे; तो warning bypass करण्याचा routine step समजू नका. Practice स्वतःच्या नव्या fileमध्ये करा.

Practice

Developer tab दाखवा आणि स्वतःच्या sampleची Blinkit_Macros.xlsm copy save करा. File type योग्य आहे का पुन्हा उघडून पाहा. Trusted Location तयार करणं या exerciseसाठी आवश्यक नाही.
