Goal Seek एका inputची value बदलत formulaचा result ठरवलेल्या targetजवळ आणतो. तो अनेक values try करतो; या प्रक्रियेला iteration म्हणतात.

Chapter indexमधलं Model तयार करा. Inputs मूळ valuesवर ठेवा.

Set cell B13 — Profitचा formula.

To value 0; By changing cell B2 — Orders per day.

OK. Result जवळपास 506.76. Keep करण्यासाठी OK; मूळ 400 परत ठेवण्यासाठी Cancel.

हिशेबाने तपासू

प्रति order contribution = 320 × 18% − 28 = ₹29.60. रोजची एक order वाढली तर 30 दिवसांत contribution ₹888. ₹4,50,000 ÷ ₹888 ≈ 506.76 orders/day. पूर्ण ordersचा practical threshold 507; modelमध्ये 507 घातल्यावर profit ₹216.

दररोज 400 orders ठेवून AOV शोधायचा असेल तर B13 target 0, changing B3. AOV सुमारे ₹363.89. हे modelच्या fixed assumptionsवरचं उत्तर आहे.

Practice

Inputs reset करून 400 orders/dayवर Profit ₹50,000साठी Delivery Cost per Order शोधा. मग break-even Gross Margin % शोधा.
उत्तर तपासा
Delivery cost ≈ ₹15.9333. Gross margin ≈ 20.46875%. Currency दोन decimal placesमध्ये वापरत असाल तर rounded input टाकून achieved profit पुन्हा तपासा.

Changing cell ही typed input असावी; formula cell नाही. Goal Seek एक input बदलतो. त्यात integer किंवा supply constraints देता येत नाहीत; त्यासाठी Solver वापरा.
