# 8.11 Sparklines — cellमध्ये छोटा trend

Tableच्या प्रत्येक rowशेजारी छोटा trend हवा असेल तर Sparkline वापरा. मोठ्या chartशिवाय वाढ-घट पटकन दिसते.

Steps

प्रत्येक City एका rowमध्ये आणि Jul–Dec सहा months B:Gमध्ये ठेवा.

रिकामे output cells H2:H4 select करा.

Insert › Sparklines › Line; Data Range B2:G4. इथे सहा months आहेत; चार-column range चुकून घेऊ नका.

Sparkline tabमध्ये High Point आणि Low Point markers चालू करा. Column किंवा Win/Loss typeही उपलब्ध असू शकतो.

Rowsची level तुलना करायची असेल तर Axis › Same for All Sparklinesने common minimum/maximum सेट करा.

या chapterच्या sampleमध्ये November high point आहे. पण प्रत्येक sparkline स्वतःचा scale वापरत असेल तर ₹1 ते ₹2 आणि ₹100 ते ₹200चा pattern सारखा उंच दिसू शकतो.

Practice

सहा Citiesसाठी line sparklines आणि मागच्या 14 दिवसांच्या daily ordersसाठी column sparklines बनवा. Per-row आणि common scaleचा फरक समजावून लिहा.

फक्त trend shape पाहायचा की absolute values compare करायच्या हे ठरवा. Common axis level comparisonसाठी उपयोगी; exact numbers tableमध्येच ठेवा.
