Steps

या product-name example मध्ये *, #, ! काढायचे आणि underscore ला space करायचं आहे:

=TRIM(SUBSTITUTE(SUBSTITUTE(SUBSTITUTE(SUBSTITUTE(A2,"*",""),"#",""),"!",""),"_"," "))

Find & Replace मध्ये literal star साठी ~*, question mark साठी ~?. ~ हा wildcard escape करतो.

नवीन Microsoft 365 मध्ये advanced optional method:

=TRIM(REDUCE(A2,{"*","#","!"},LAMBDA(t,c,SUBSTITUTE(t,c,""))))

REDUCE/LAMBDA च्या या example मध्ये *, #, ! काढले जातात. Underscore वेगळ्या SUBSTITUTE ने space करा.

Practice

*, #, _, !! आणि double spaces असलेली दहा names दोन पद्धतींनी clean करा: Find & Replace आणि formula. Numbers किंवा model codes मधले अर्थपूर्ण characters काढले गेले नाहीत ना ते पाहा.

Find what मध्ये फक्त * दिला तर तो wildcard आहे; literal star नाही. Replace All आधी Find All ने काय match होतंय ते पाहा. Raw backup ठेवून controlled column वरच काम करा.
