# 3.8 Text जोडणं — &, CONCAT, TEXTJOIN आणि TEXT

& ने text जोडता येतो. CONCAT अनेक text parts जोडतो. TEXTJOIN मध्ये delimiter देता येतो आणि TRUE दिल्यावर empty items वगळता येतात. CONCAT / TEXTJOIN हे Excel 2019+ मध्ये उपलब्ध आहेत.

Date जोडली की मोठा number का दिसतो?

Excel date आतून serial number असते. ="Order date: "&B2 लिहिल्यावर formatted date ऐवजी 46328 दिसू शकतो. म्हणून date किंवा amount text मध्ये जोडताना TEXT वापरा:

="Order date: "&TEXT(B2,"dd-mmm-yyyy")&" | Amount: ₹"&TEXT(G2,"#,##0")

Example output: Order date: 02-Nov-2026 | Amount: ₹64.

Dashboard title

="Blinkit sales till "&TEXT(TODAY(),"dd-mm-yyyy")&": ₹"&TEXT(SUM(G2:G11),"#,##0") वापरल्यावर आजची date आणि ₹2,870 total असलेला title मिळतो. TODAY मुळे date recalculate झाल्यावर बदलते.

Microsoft 365 मध्ये Pune चे unique areas एका cell मध्ये: =TEXTJOIN(", ",TRUE,UNIQUE(FILTER(Stores[Area],Stores[City]="Pune"))).

Number किंवा date text मध्ये जोडताना TEXT ने format ठरवा. TEXT चा output text असतो; पुढच्या maths साठी original numeric column जपून ठेवा. जुन्या CONCATENATE ऐवजी गरजेनुसार CONCAT किंवा TEXTJOIN वापरा.
