# 2.2 Flash Fill — example दाखवा आणि pattern भरा

Flash Fill मध्ये आपण एक-दोन output examples देतो. Excel त्या pattern वरून बाकी column भरतो. ही सुविधा Excel 2013 आणि त्यानंतरच्या versions मध्ये आहे.

कसं वापरायचं?

A column मध्ये source data ठेवा. उदाहरण: ravina.patil@example.com.

B2 मध्ये हवा असलेला result लिहा, उदा. ravina.

B3 वर जा आणि Ctrl + E दाबा. पर्याय: Data › Data Tools › Flash Fill किंवा Home › Editing › Fill › Flash Fill.

सगळे results तपासा. चुकीचा result असेल तर आणखी एक योग्य example देऊन पुन्हा Flash Fill वापरा.

Store code वेगळा करूया

Shraddha कडे PUN-Kothrud-01 असा store code आहे. B column मध्ये पहिल्या row साठी PUN आणि C column मध्ये Kothrud type करून प्रत्येक column मध्ये Ctrl + E वापरते.

Flash Fill text एकत्रही करू शकतो. Area आणि City वरून नवीन column मध्ये Kothrud, Pune असं example लिहा आणि Ctrl + E दाबा.

तुमची practice

shahrukh@example.com वरून पहिलं letter capital असलेलं Shahrukh नाव काढा. मग Area आणि City मिळून ‘Area, City’ हा output तयार करा.

Flash Fill चा output formula नसतो; तो fixed values असतो. Source बदलला तरी output आपोआप बदलत नाही. रोज बदलणाऱ्या data साठी TEXTBEFORE, LEFT, MID किंवा Power Query वापरण्याचा विचार करा. Flash Fill एकदाच clean करायच्या data साठी उपयोगी आहे.
