# 3.9 Command ची help कशी मिळवायची?

प्रत्येक option पाठ करण्याची गरज नाही. man, --help आणि apropos वापरायला शिका.

man ls              # full manual page (q to quit, /word to search)
ls --help           # short usage summary
whatis chmod        # one-line description
apropos network     # search manual pages by keyword
type cd             # is it a built-in, alias or program?
which nginx         # full path of a command

man मध्ये q ने exit आणि /word ने search. whatis एका ओळीत अर्थ सांगतो. type ने command built-in/alias/program आहे का समजतं. which executable चा path दाखवतो.

महत्त्वाची config edit करण्याआधी backup: sudo cp /etc/nginx/nginx.conf /etc/nginx/nginx.conf.bak. जुनी backup overwrite होऊ नये म्हणून अनेक बदल करताना वेगळं नाव वापरा.

Lab

whatis chmod, type cd, which nginx run करून output एका वाक्यात लिहा. man tail मध्ये -f शोधा आणि q ने बाहेर या.

Error आला की random fix copy करू नका. आधी --help/man पाहा. which nginx रिकामं असेल तर package install आहे का आणि PATH मध्ये आहे का तपासा.
